Areas Of Expertise

Mediation is a voluntary and confidential process in which a neutral, trained third party (the mediator) helps people in conflict communicate, understand each other’s perspectives, and work towards a mutually acceptable agreement.

The mediator doesn’t take sides or make decisions. Instead, they guide discussions, manage emotions, and support the parties in exploring options for resolving their dispute. Mediation is often quicker, less formal, and more cost-effective than going to court, and it allows the parties to stay in control of the outcome.

Legal drafting is important to ensure that the person can get their point across to another party. It can include completing forms, writing witness statements, pulling together a bundle for court or writing an agreement that both sides are happy with.

What I Do...

Commercial Mediation

Commercial mediation is a confidential, voluntary process where businesses resolve disputes with an independent mediator who facilitates discussions and helps reach settlement. This method is usually faster, cheaper, and less confrontational than court, allowing companies to maintain and control the outcome.

Civil Mediation

Civil mediation is a voluntary and confidential process for resolving disputes without court intervention. A neutral mediator facilitates communication and explores solutions without making decisions. It is collaborative, quicker, and less costly than litigation, allowing parties to control the outcome. Mediation can address various civil disputes and often results in flexible agreements that maintain relationships.

Legal Drafting

Legal drafting involves creating clear and precise documents that outline rights, obligations, and procedures. It includes contracts agreements, witness statements, and various other legal documents. Good drafting is written in straightforward language, reflects the parties' intentions and complies with law. Ultimately, it transforms what you want into written forms that safeguard your interests.
